Fast Kitchen Hoods Inc. (“we,” “us”) operates fastkitchenhood.com and related stores for customers in Canada and the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to exercise your rights. It is meant for our commercial kitchen equipment storefront, not as legal advice.

Information you provide

When you order, request a quote, create an account, contact us, or use chat, we may collect name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, order details, account credentials, and the content of your messages.

Information collected automatically

Our servers and tools may collect IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, and similar diagnostics. If you allow marketing cookies, HubSpot chat and related scripts may also record chat transcripts and on-site interactions. We do not currently run a separate analytics product.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies and local storage run the cart, sign-in, checkout, and security. HubSpot chat loads only after you allow marketing cookies. Change that anytime with Cookie settings in the footer. Browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) is treated as an opt-out of sale/share; marketing cookies stay off. Browser settings can also block cookies, which may break checkout.

How we use information

We use personal information to process and ship orders, calculate tax and freight, prevent fraud, provide support, send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates), and improve the site. We do not currently run a newsletter. If we send promotional email later, Canada’s CASL and the US CAN-SPAM Act would apply (identification, physical address, and unsubscribe). Transactional mail about an order is not marketing.

Service providers (processors)

We share data only as needed to operate the business, including:

• Stripe — payment processing (we do not store full card numbers)
• Freight and parcel carriers and quoting tools — delivery
• Email delivery providers — order and support messages
• HubSpot — chat and optional marketing, only if you allow marketing cookies
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the website

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Retention

Order, tax, and accounting records are kept for as long as tax, warranty, and legal rules require (often several years). Account data is kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period after. Support messages are kept as needed to resolve issues. HubSpot chat data follows the provider’s settings and your cookie choice.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and commercially reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Canada–United States transfers

We are headquartered in Québec, Canada. We sell into the United States and into Canada except Québec: we do not currently accept orders for delivery in Québec. Personal information may be stored or processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where our providers operate (for example Stripe). Those countries may have different privacy laws. We use providers under contracts that require appropriate protection of the data.

Canada (PIPEDA)

We collect and use personal information for the purposes described in this policy, with your consent where required. You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. Use our privacy request form or email info@fastkitchenhood.com. Because we are headquartered in Québec but do not sell or ship orders into Québec, this storefront is not offered to Québec consumers.

California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California consumer, you may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined under California law. Submit requests with our privacy request form or email info@fastkitchenhood.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days, with a possible extension). You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. Optional HubSpot marketing cookies may be “sharing” for cross-context advertising. Opt out by choosing Essential only in Cookie settings, by submitting a do-not-sell/share request, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor GPC as an opt-out of sale/share.

Categories we may collect: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP, account ID); commercial information (orders, cart); internet activity (site usage if HubSpot is allowed); geolocation (coarse, from IP). Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may access, correct, or delete personal information, withdraw marketing consent, or object to certain processing. Use the privacy request form or email info@fastkitchenhood.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

The Services are for adult commercial purchasers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We will post changes on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted as required by law.
